Galveston Trip

This past Saturday, my family and I were super blessed to stay at the most amazing condo on the beach to celebrate the life of my heavenly grandmother’s first anniversary of her passing. Learning to smile again, but every day I miss my grandparents.

My Family

The purpose of our visit was to celebrate the life of my grandmother, Arseola Fletcher. She was the kindest person I knew, I mean she gave away thousands. She gave to everyone and loved so many. I was blessed to spend 31 years of my life with her and learned a lot from her. I learned to smile with my heart from her! I was born when she was 70 years old, I know. She was 101 years old and still had her amazing grey eyes. My grandmother was born in Louisiana but was raised by her aunt who was a Native American. She moved to Houston, Texas in her 20’s. She later met and married my grandfather, Sidney Jr. Fletcher. They were married for almost 50 years.

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston Seaside Resort

My family and I stayed 3 days at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston Seaside Resort which is located 15 minutes outside of Galveston, Texas. It’s a great space to stay with your family to enjoy the beach that’s just some footsteps away. The condo had the most amazing views of the beach and we enjoyed some music that played from the pool area. Galveston, Texas is a great place to escape when you need to get away from the city.

Things we did:

  1. Went to the beach

  2. Went to Jimmy’s On The Pier

  3. Relaxed in the pool
